       m. Emma C. Fisher. George served in W W I 
       1. Calvin F. Bonawitz, born June 13, 1921. 
          m. Esther Mae Fick, at Reading.
          Calvin served in W W II and became a Lieutenant 
          Commander in the Naval Reserve. In 1958 he was 
          appointed 1st Lieutenant in the Coast Guard after 
          having served 14 years in the Merchant Marine. He is 
          now a Chief Engineer with the Farrell Lines. Calvin 
          and Esther make their home at Fleetwood, Pa. 
          1. Jacqueline J. Bonawitz, born November 17, 1941.
              m. John Thomas. They live near Allentown.
          2. Calvin F. Bonawitz Jr., born August 26, 1944. 
             m. Suzzane Lantz, of Reading.
             Calvin received a BS degree in Mechanical 
             Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh 
             in 1966. They live at Ashville, North Carolina 
             where Calvin is working on a Master's degree.

       2. George W. Bonawitz, born February 27, 1925, Reading. 
          m. Violet E. Pratt, of Greensboro, N. Car. in 1948. 
	  George served in the U. S. Navy, G.M. 2/C 1943-1946. 
	  He was a participant in the naval amphibious force at 
	  Omaha Beach, Normandy, France on June 6, 1944 in the 
	  28th wave of assault landing. Violet was born near 
	  Pilot Mt. in Surry County, N.C. August 27, 1927. 
	  George does contracting near Charlotte, N. Carolina. 
	     1. Emma Carleene Bonawitz, born October 6, 1947. 
             m. Kermitt Reed Robinson, born in March, 1945.
                They live on Ocracoke Island, N. Carolina. 
	     2. A male child died after birth at Greensboro. 
	     3. Jeannie Lyle Bonawitz, born January 12, 1956.
         4. Mary Cathrine Bonawitz, born March 15, 1962.
3. Ellen Bonawitz,  (1862-1907) 
   Ellen did not marry. She is buried at Reading.
