John Jefferson Bonewitz, (1842~1899)
   m. 2nd Elizabeth Alice McGimpsey, Dec 28, 1882 (9/6/1862-11/16/19~7) 
   Elizabeth was born in Indiana. Her parents died when she was young. 
   She moved to Topeka when she was 18 and married John there. John 
   worked for the Santa Fe Railroad until 1890, then operated a 
   grocery store in North Topeka until he died.

         m. Inez May Kincaid, (10/4/1879-7/1/1960)         "    "    " 
         They lived in Topeka. Arthur worked for the Santa Fe until 1920. 
            1. Louis Arthur Bonewitz, born April 22, 1908 in Denver. 
               m. Leona Nurnberg. They live at Englewood, Colorado.
                  1. Ronald Louis Bonewitz, born Oct. 20, 1944 at Englewood. 
            2. John James Bonewitz, born April 1, 1910 in Topeka.
               m. Lola Humphrey, May 6, 1933. Born March 11, 1910 in Okla. 
                  Lola is a daughter of Ernest and Dora Humphrey. John and 
                  Lola live at Wichita, Kansas. John is an Experimental 
                  pre-Flight Inspector for Boeing Company.
                    1. Norma Jean Bonewitz, born October 3, 1938 at Topeka. 
                       m. Robert Lynn Day, June 5, 1960. They live in Junction City.
                          1. Marsha Lynn Day, born April 12, 1966. 
                    2. Dale Warren Bonewitz, born October 13, 1945 in Wichita. 
                       m. Sherry Larkin, June 18, 1965. Born February 23, 1945. 
                       Dale is a Senior Customer Engineer for I B M at Salina.
                          1. Debbra Lynn Bonewitz, born October 17, 1966. 
      2. Mable E. Bonewitz, (2/1/1886-9/  /1960) 
         m. Burt Hunt, He died about 1920. Mable did not remarry. 
         They lived at Topeka.
            1. Lyle Hunt, and a daughter are both deceased.
            2. Melvern Hunt, deceased.
      3. Iva Opal Bonewitz, born April 28, 1888. She had no children. 
         m. ______ Scott,
         m. ______ Holtman,      Opal was Mrs. Holtman. In 1939 and 1948. 
         m. ______ Barefoot,     Opal lived at Phoenix, Arizona in 1961. 
Elizabeth remarried to H. S. Van Fleet, in 1903 (1857-1938) 
She is buried in Rochester Cemetery at Topeka. No more children.
