      Abner farmed near Meriden. Nelle is in long Beach, California. 
         1. Mary Jane Bonewitz, horn September 3, 1916 near Meriden.
            m. Floyd Case Scritchfield, July 6, 1938 at Topeka, Kansas. 
            Floyd received a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Univ. 
            of Kansas in 1955. He is a Professor at the Nevada Southern 
            University. Mary Jane teaches and is working on a 
            Master's Degree. They live at Las Vegas, Nevada. 
               1. Nancy Jane Scritchfield, horn Feb. 16, 1939 at Topeka. 
                  m. Patrick Leyden Conroy, Aug. 8, 1959 at Allegan, Mich. 
                  Pat was born October 2, 1934 and has a degree from 
                  Michigan State Univ. They live at Houston, Texas.

                  2. Daniel Patrick Conroy, b. Jan. 30, 1968 at Houston. 
               2. Meredith Anne Scritchfield, born Oct. 20, 1941, Topeka. 
                  m. Dale Lawrence Lowe, Jan. 24, 1965. Born August 8, 1941. 
                  Dale has a degree from San Francisco State U. and works for 
                  the Metropolitan life Insurance Co. at San Francisco.

         2. Alice Nelle Bonewitz, born April 25, 1921 at Meriden.
            m. Wylie Cathey, December 12, 1944 at Topeka. No children.
            They live in Topeka. Wylie is in Dry Cleaning, 
         3. Ethel Joy Bonewitz, born April 11, 1923 at Meriden.
            m. John P. Edwards, June 3, 1943. They divorced, in 1958. 
            Ethel and the children live at Yakima, Wash. where she is a 
            book keeper. John is a son of Albert Edwards of Eldon, Mo. 
              1. John Thomas Edwards, born February 3, 1945 at Topeka.
                 He was in Air Force. Is now a machinist at San Francisco. 
              2. Michael Robert Edwards, b. March 14, 1947, Sunnyside.
                 He is a boat mechanic at Yakima, Washington. 
              3. Diane Karol Edwards, born Feb. 21,1948 at Sunnyside. 
              4. Lorraine Jo Edwards, born January II, 1950 at Yakima.
                 She is a Wave in the Naval Reserves.
              5. Amanda Jane Edwards, b. July 8, 1952 at Sunnyside.
              6. Patricia Anne Edwards, born Nov. 15, 1957 at Sunnyside. 
   7. Maude Irene Bonewitz, (5/1/1891-4/5/1968) Buried at San Pedro. 
      Maude did not marry. She was employed by the Post Office Dept. 
      at San Pedro, California until her retirement. She kept records 
      of members of the Bonewitz families and graciously assisted, 
      in the compilation of her branch.
