Henry Bonnewitz, (1824 per census- 
m. Margaretta,   (1822 per census-
Census records of 1860 through 1880 list them at Flushing, Long 
Island, New York. Henry was born at Hamburg, Germany. Margaretta 
was born in Bavaria. Henry was a basket maker, store keeper and 
farmer. All of their children were born in New York State.

1. Henry Bonnewitz, born 1848. No information after 1860. 
2. Charles Bonnewitz, (1852-1929) Buried near Englishtown, N. J. 
   m. Lena,           (1871-1943)   "               " 
   They lived at Bay Side, Long Island until the mid 1920's, then 
   moved to a farm near Englishtown, New Jersey.

      They live near Jamesburg, New Jersey. 
   2. Charles Bonnewitz, 
      m. Mary, 
      They live at Englishtown, New Jersey.

3. Mary Bonnewitz,  born 1853 per census. 
4. Annie Bonnewitz, born 1857 per census. 
5. Phillip Bonnewitz, born 1859. Not in 1870 census. 
6. William Bonnewitz, born 1864. He married and moved to Ohio. 
   He had no children.

   From information by Mary Bonnewitz, it appears that either 
Mary or Annie was later known as Louise.

   Louise Bonnewitz, 
      m.          Loehr, 
         1. Adolph Loehr,          He died around 1955. 
            m.
               1. J. A. Loehr,     He lived in Jersey City, New Jersey. 
                  He is believed to have had information on his grand-
                  parents that was collected by Adolph. He died several 
                  years ago, however. It is believed that a son and a 
                  daughter lived in the Bronx.
